I created this twin size quilt in memory of our only grandchild who was stillborn in 2011 because of Trisomy 18. I have donated it to Trisomy 18 Foundation as a fundraiser and it will be given away in October, 2013. Update: The quilt has been given away. Mary raised $3040.00 in total for the foundation!What a fantastic way to raise funds. The quilt blocks are Continuous Sunbonnet Girls and the sashings and corner stones are Little Red Hearts. I modified the designs for the sashings and the three smaller corner stones to fit my needs for this quilt. The the bottom of the quilt is a gentle scallop and it is quilted in a heart design to compliment the quilt square design.
