"I started designing in 2000, whilst at home with my young family. My main interest was in cloth dolls and stitcheries originally, but after playing around with patchwork, I found myself hooked on it.
Prior to designing, my background was in graphic design, having worked in the advertising industry for 10 years. The opportunity to combine patchwork designs and graphic design, presented itself, in 2005, in my first book, FairyLand. I was inspired to create a very special bedroom theme, a celebration of childhood dreams and wide-eyed innocence. I hope you enjoy it." - Natalie

The Fairyland quilt was originally created by Natalie Bird. The applique of the designs are done by hand in the original quilt. We have now digitized those designs for you to do on your embroidery machine.

* Cross-hairs have been added for easy alignment of the designs
