Hatched In Africa
SHIPSHEWANA REUNION

SHIPSHEWANA, IN 2008

Join us as we host Santi from 'Hatched in Africa' and Cara from 'All Sorts Embroidery' along with Dawn from Design by Dawn, Susan from All About Blanks and Mark from Discount Embroidery for a fun filled four days in
Shipshewana, Indiana on May 14 - 17, 2008.

Shipshewana, a quiet peaceful town nestled in Amish country is located in the northern part of Indiana close to the Michigan border.

We have a fun and educational time planned. From the Hands On projects to a number of demonstrations, a trunk show and shopping, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

The reserved seating for the "Hands On" classes have now been filled, however we will be happy to put your name on a waiting list in the event someone has to cancel. We are still taking reservations for the "Fun Days'.

Some of you may remember the Trunk Show Santi did in Shipshewana at the Blue Gate Restaurant several years back on her first trip to the states. Hence, we refer to this as the Shipshewana reunion.

Put A Little “Sparkle” In Your Life-Demo

In this class, you will learn all about the different sizes and styles of crystals and metals and the many ways to apply them to different items.  We will discuss all of the equipment and helpful accessories.  Learn the correct application for crystals along with great ideas to spice up your embroidery.  A little glitter is all it takes to make your embroidery a one of a kind creation.  You will learn when to use the various sizes and colors of crystals and metals.  You will see dozens of unique ways to further embellish your embroidery and have time to ask your questions along with learning the proper way to use your heat set tool and alternative ways to apply crystals so that you will not loose any in the wash.  I will then show you ways to use the crystals to create your own designs and fun ways to get children involved in creating their own.  When you leave the class you will be confident that you can do it too! This class is for those that are new to the “Sparkle” World or just need a quick refresher that may make the application process easier.
